Watching your child struggle with a motility disorder can be scary. When the nerves and muscles in their intestinal tract don't work properly, it can lead to pain during eating and digestion and nutritional issues. The Suzi and Scott Lustgarten Center for GI Motility provides world-class diagnostic resources and patient-centered services to children with gastrointestinal (GI) motility disorders affecting the esophagus, stomach or intestines. We offer:
- A full spectrum of cutting-edge diagnostic tests including manometric studies, EndoFlip and EsoFlip
- A coordinated approach to diagnosis and treatment, drawing resources from the entire hospital
- Psychology and social work resources to help patients cope with the effects of their diagnosis
