Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center
The Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center treats congenital heart conditions in adults, including conditions complicated by heart rhythm problems, heart failure, pregnancy and pacemakers.
Our adult congenital heart disease center meets the specific needs of adults, including:
- Support transitioning from child to adult-focused cardiac care
- Advanced imaging
- Genetic counseling
- Exercise recommendations
- Guidance on reproductive medicine, mental and emotional health, and employment and insurance issues
We are a partnership between CHOP and Penn Medicine Health System. Together, we offer a full range of cardiac care resources. Penn’s Heart and Vascular Center and our Cardiac Center both have active research programs. Our goal is to discover the causes and effects of heart defects and to develop new treatments that will keep our patients living longer, healthier lives.
