Assent and Decision-Making Study in Down Syndrome

We are inviting teens and young adults with Down Syndrome and their care givers to participate in a study that seeks to improve the way we explain research studies to individuals with Down Syndrome. Our goal is to create tools to help with explaining what it means to be in

a research study and to get feedback on how we can improve these tools.

Down Syndrome and Sleep Apnea Study (DOSA)

This research study is being conducted to look at oxygen as a treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in children with Down syndrome. The main reason for the study is to show how 6 months of oxygen treatment while sleeping affects the participants sleep, quality of life, breathing, heart and if it makes the participant feel better.
