Pulmonary Vein Stenosis Program
Our Pulmonary Vein Stenosis Program provides expert diagnosis, individualized therapies and ongoing care to children who have, or are suspected to have, pulmonary vein stenosis (PVS).
One of the few highly experienced centers in the country, we take an individualized approach to your child's care based on the cause and severity of your child's disease.
We take a step-by-step approach to treatment, escalating medical care as needed to manage the recurrence of stenosis. People with PVS require lifelong cardiology care. Our team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), helps transition adult patients to the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center.
How we serve you
Our team provides innovative medical therapies and is committed to ongoing research to develop new treatments for pulmonary vein stenosis. We are currently active in the only multi-center clinical trial for PVS, and we offer enrollment to all our patients.
Why choose the pulmonary vein stenosis program
While most children with PVS survive, prognosis depends on appropriate care from a highly experienced team. Our Pulmonary Vein Stenosis Program is one of few programs like it in the country. We offer advanced treatments and coordinated care to manage your child's complex health needs.
