The Division of Cardiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) treats thousands of infants, children and young adults with heart conditions every year. Our team of board-certified pediatric cardiologists is one of the largest in the world.
Each year, we provide:
- More than 36,000 outpatient visits
- More than 38,000 diagnostic tests
- More than 1,400 cardiac catheterizations
Our cardiologists provide the full spectrum of advanced, complex medical care. We work closely with Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesiology and Critical Care, and Cardiac Nursing to care for all surgical patients, including those receiving heart or heart and lung transplants, as well as ventricular assist devices. We also partner with Penn Medicine to treat adults with congenital heart conditions through the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center.
