Mikayla (Griffin) Pirrera, PA-C

Mikayla (Griffin) Pirrera, PA-C, received her Bachelor of Science Medical Studies and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University.

Mikayla’s journey started as a Pharmacy Technician processing prescriptions and communicating with insurance companies. She also consulted with patients about health care and drug related questions. As a result, Mikayla knew she wanted to work in healthcare and was accepted at DeSales University. She excelled in her studies was selected as a student leader from 2020-2021: PUPS-Undergraduate Physician Assistant Group.

To broaden horizons, Mikayla participated in many volunteer activities. The Catholic Relief Services Ambassador; student volunteer and a Physician Assistant Student Volunteer. She is an active member in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants.
