  • Dr. Bamba is a wonderful doctor. She is not only great with my son but she does a great job of interacting with both of us. She is very personable and unlike many doctors I've had experiences with, she never makes you feel rushed. She always adds a nice personal touch to the appointments, is patient and always willing to answer any questions I may have. CHOP is very lucky to have her on staff. I couldn't ask for a better experience for my son.

  • Dr. Vaneeta Bamba is an outstanding Endocrinologist and clinician. She spent a lot of time with our family, beyond what we would have expected. She actively listened to our questions and addressed all of our concerns. She provided appropriate level of reassurance and was honest and clear in areas where there may be uncertainty and where additional follow up may be required. Dr. Bamba connected well with our child and made clear and successful efforts to make sure our child felt engaged and part of the process. Dr. Bamba explained complex concepts very well and her bedside manner was exceptional. Dr. Bamba's attention to detail, medical knowledge, ability to explain complex concepts in a way that her patients and families can easily understand, and ability to connect with patients and families is unparalleled. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Bamba and for the outstanding care we received on the day of our visit.

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
