Preventive Cardiovascular Program
Our Preventive Cardiovascular Program helps identify, monitor and treat children and teens at risk of developing heart disease, such as heart attack and stroke, in adulthood.
We provide a full range of services and tests to evaluate and monitor your child. These include:
- Lipid testing
- Genetic testing for inherited lipid disorders
- 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
- Exercise stress testing
- Echocardiogram
- Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)
- Vascular ultrasound imaging
We work closely with your child’s primary healthcare team and specialists to provide an individualized treatment plan that will best meet your child’s unique needs.
In addition to medical recommendations, we offer personalized diet and exercise planning to help your child make lifestyle changes that will support their health into adulthood.
How we serve you
When you schedule your child's appointment, we will direct you to the appropriate clinic based on your child's medical history and the reason the doctor referred you. Your child may be evaluated at more than one clinic during separate visits.
