Tracey F. Jubelirer, MD

I am privileged to work at CHOP’s Pediatric and Adolescent Specialty Care Center in King of Prussia, PA. I specialize in treating all patients with cancer and blood disorders. In addition to providing outpatient care, I also attend on the inpatient oncology service at CHOP several weeks per year. My passion is to provide outstanding and compassionate care to children and their families, and help them cope during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Our fully functional suburban clinic sees hundreds of patients per year who are able to receive excellent care close to home, in addition to being part of the world renowned Cancer Center at CHOP. Our clinic provides comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and management of all childhood cancers and blood disorders in a family-centered environment. We are supported by a social worker experienced in helping families coping with cancer, and an outstanding nursing staff specialized in hematology and oncology. Our clinic is unique in its team-oriented approach. The patients and their families typically feel comfortable in the smaller clinic environment, getting to know the entire staff — and essentially feeling part of a new “family.”

One of my specific interests is supportive care for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy. I am particularly interested in integrative health/oncology, a specialty that blends complementary therapies and conventional medical treatment, aiming to: promote health and wellness, harness innate healing properties, enhance efficacy, improve symptom control, alleviate distress and reduce suffering in cancer patients. In developing an integrative oncology program, I hope to empower and educate patients, families and oncology practitioners on integrative health, with a goal of advancing evidence based research, and becoming a leader in the field of pediatric integrative oncology.
