Last fall, Leela Morrow, PsyD, joined the team at the Congenital Hyperinsulinism Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, adding another service to the comprehensive program.
Dr. Morrow has been with CHOP since 2008, when she joined as a Psychology fellow and researcher. She has worked a pediatric psychologist, helping families throughout the hospital for the past nine years, and has played a significant role in mentoring and training other psychologists. Before joining the HI team, Dr. Morrow worked with inpatients of all ages and their families. She also supported patients and families in the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program.
In addition to working with HI patients and families, Dr. Morrow supports CHOP’s Turner Syndrome Program and the Adrenal and Puberty Center as well as other patients being cared for by endocrinologists.
Dr. Morrow is a Chicago native who received her education at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at Miami (Fla.) Children’s Hospital and came to Philadelphia for her post-doctoral fellowship. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves to dance, travel and spend time at the beach.
