  • Dr. Cohen immediately put us at ease. She knew we were worried and she wasted no time telling us the good news quickly. She was efficient, so smart and so kind.

  • Dr. Cohen was very attentive and provided clear explanations of test results. The PA or NP who conducted the initial tests rushed and did not pause to explain what tests she was conducting; pausing to look the patient in the eye and provide a 10-20 second overview/explanation would help patients relax. The person (NP?) Who conducted the echocardiogram was calm and explained the procedure clearly.

  • Dr Cohen is an AMAZING doctor. She is friendly, super professional, a fantastic communicator and has excellent bedside manners. She manages complex topics with ease in front of my kid allowing us to discuss his diagnosis with so much care and privacy. Our visit went very well, she stopped for a quick hello and to say read of the ekg, then stopped in during echo exam to say images were looking great. It took maybe a combine 30 seconds with both quick interactions but I felt she was caring for my kid (and me) the second we walked in the clinic. During our consult, she was caring, detail oriented and took the time to explain absolutely everything. My family is forever grateful to Dr cohen for the superb care she is showing to us

  • Dr. Cohen takes time to listen, ask questions and evaluate. She is extremely knowledgeable and straightforward. My son has been under her care for years as I trust her fully and she always makes herself available. She deserves a rating well above 5! We love her!

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
