CHOP played an instrumental role in leading one of two clinical trials that led to the approval of Xalkori® for unresectable, recurrent, or refractory ALK-positive IMT.

Many children with hyperinsulinism (HI) have feeding aversion — as many as 60%. The use of tube feedings, and possibly continuous dextrose, to control their blood sugar, among other things (effect of medications, the appetite suppressing effects of insulin, etc.), may exacerbate their aversion to eating by mouth. 

Funding aims to reduce health disparities for patient and families living in West Philadelphia, extending CHOP’s overall community impact.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been recognized by the 2022 Disability Equality Index (DEI) as a leader in “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion.” The DEI is the nation’s most comprehensive annual benchmarking tool used to survey employers’ disability policies, practices, and initiatives. For the fourth year in a row, CHOP received a 100 out of 100 score, the DEI’s highest ranking.

CHOP partnered with the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council to host its first matchmaker event targeted towards construction, facilities and building trades. The virtual event offered attendees the opportunity to learn more about CHOP, our supplier diversity program, future bid opportunities, and to meet with CHOP’s senior leaders, facilities and construction teams.
