Core Lab – Hematology
The Hematology Laboratory offers a wide range of testing to help with patient diagnosis, treatment and care. The lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our dedicated and skilled staff possess a unique pediatric laboratory testing expertise in each area of the lab with many years of experience. Majority of our tests are offered on a STAT and routine basis.

- Immature Platelet Fraction (IPF)
- Reticulocyte Count
- Retic-HE (Hemoglobin Equivalent)

- G6PD Qualitative
- RBC Pit Count
- Hemoglobinopathy (Hemoglobin ID, Quantitation and Interpretation)
- Serum and Urine Pregnancy test
- CSF and Other Body Fluid Cell Counts

Bone Marrow Processing and Analysis
Our Bone Marrow Champions are a team of advanced laboratory scientists, committed to providing high quality patient care. In addition to performing differential cell counts and iron stains, we work closely with clinical teams to triage bone marrow samples for ancillary testing.
Teaching and research is a critical part of our mission. We welcome pathology and hematology/oncology trainees to join us in the laboratory.
