Martha Curley named “Living Legend” by American Academy of Nursing

Martha A.Q. Curley, PhD, RN, FAAN, the Ruth M. Colket Endowed Chair in Pediatric Nursing at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, was recently named a “Living Legend” by the American Academy of Nursing.

From the time she was a high school student in Nigeria, Ruth Abaya, MD, MPH, wanted to be a physician. She earned a medical degree from Northwestern University and completed a residency at Boston Children's Hospital before fellowship training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
