All patients on parenteral (IV) nutrition are routinely monitored by the Nutrition Support Service (NSS). The NSS consists of dietitians, data collectors, pharmacists, nutrition fellows, and physicians who monitor the medical progress, nutritional status, and laboratory data of parenteral nutrition patients. This helps us ensure optimal nutritional support and patient safety.

Patients who go home on parenteral nutrition are followed by the Home Parenteral Nutrition team.
