Health Behavior Adolescent CHD
Contact
Description
The teenage years can be an exciting time for friendships and becoming more independent. Teens may make different choices about their health based on social cues or peer pressure. Some health behaviors may have a negative impact on wellbeing, especially for teens with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Although we know about some kinds of behaviors that healthy teens and teens with other diseases take part in, we don't know a lot about teens with CHD.
We are looking for teens with CHD who are 13 to 19 years old and have a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Teens with CHD will be asked to answer confidential questionnaires and play two computer games that will tell us more about their health behaviors and self-control.
All teens who complete the study will be compensated for their effort.
