  • It was nice not to have to repeat the entire story of why we were there to Dr. Ryan. He came in familiar with our case eventhough it was our first visit. You could tell he took the time to read the chart and make sure he came in to the visit informed and ready to brainstorm solutions

  • Dr Ryan was so nice and professional. He took his time to understand my concerns and gave us a treatment plan. We did not know any of the staff or providers but drove an hour away to CHOP because I knew we would receive top of the line care here. I wish all my son's doctors were of this standard.

  • Dr. Ryan is always so attentive and thorough. He takes the time to listen to all concerns and analyze the issues at hand. His bed side manner is one of the best I've ever experienced. Every time bringing my child to see Dr. Ryan, I am assured that he will carefully listen and honestly care about the problems and determine how we can best work towards correcting them. I appreciate a kind and caring physician who didn't rush us through the process. As a concerned parent, that is one of the most reassuring things you hope for from a doctor.

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
