About Lehn Weaver

Lehn Weaver, MD, PhD, completed his medical training and doctoral degree in Immunology at Dartmouth Medical School before joining Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to complete his internship and residency in General Pediatrics. He continued his training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a fellow and junior faculty member within the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology. During his training, Dr. Weaver studied basic mechanisms of inflammation in models of rheumatic diseases including lupus, psoriasis and arthritis. He has a particular interest in rare rheumatic diseases and autoinflammatory syndromes, and currently cares for numerous children and young adults with a wide variety of musculoskeletal, inflammatory and rheumatic diseases in the Pediatric Rheumatology clinic at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

  • Dr. Weaver is incredibly compassionate and supportive of my child. He always expresses an interest in her as a person and not just a patient - asking about school, activities, happiness, etc. We could not ask for more in a pediatric provider!

  • Dr. Weaver and his resident physician (sorry I forgot her name) were amazing. I honestly have never been to a physician who treated a patient with such thorough evaluation, care, concern, and compassion. After months of not knowing what the potential Issues were causing severe swelling, pain, and fluid on his knee we were relieved to finally get an answer. Dr. Weaver was so compassionate I honestly wanted to cry. He suggested a cortisone Injection which made my son super anxious but the utmost care that he and his nurse showed was above my expectations. Both Dr. Weaver and the nurse who assisted him were so calm, patient and caring and I couldn't be more grateful. Dr. Weaver is amazing.
