Neonatal Neurocritical Care Program
If your baby was born with a neurologic disease or injury, it can be hard to cope with the emotional impact of this experience while navigating the challenges associated with your baby's condition. We are here to help. A baby’s brain has a remarkable ability to heal if they get the care they need as soon as possible. Our Neonatal Neurocritical Care Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) was created to provide this early and expert care. Each member of our team is specially trained to help infants born with or are at risk for neurologic disease, neurological damage or brain injury. We provide the medical support your baby needs and emotional support for you and your family.
How we serve you
Your baby's neonatal neurocritical care specialists are experts in monitoring and delivering treatments and are actively involved in developing new ways to treat these conditions more safely and effectively. Families have the opportunity to participate in our clinical research trials.
