Coronary Anomaly Management Program (CAMP)
Our Coronary Anomaly Management Program (CAMP) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides complete care and monitoring for children with coronary artery anomalies.
A coronary artery anomaly is a defect in one or more of the heart’s coronary arteries. Some forms of coronary anomalies are connected to an increased risk of sudden cardiac death during or just after exercise. These defects are often diagnosed in children who don’t have symptoms but have an echocardiogram done for another reason.
CAMP is the only program of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region. Coronary artery anomalies can be difficult to manage. We bring together world-leading experts to care for children with these complex conditions.
Conditions we treat
Meet your team
Your child's team will include a cardiothoracic surgeon, an adult congenital heart disease specialist and cardiologists, each with special training in caring for patients with coronary anomalies. We make sure your child gets the highest level of care.
Our research
We are committed to research that will increase our understanding of coronary anomalies and help us learn even more about the best way to care for your child.
