The Homeless Health Initiative (HHI) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia appreciates the generosity of individuals, groups and organizations that donate goods and supplies to families that reside in our partner shelters in and around Philadelphia.
We are grateful, and so are our families. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness this past year.

A huge number of people, including many CHOP employees, donated to HHI’s 2022 holiday donation drive to benefit families living in:
- Philadelphia — Families Forward Philadelphia, HopePHL, LSH/Jane Addams Place, Salvation Army Red Shield Family Residence, Women Against Abuse
- New Jersey — HomeFront Family Preservation Campus
- Suburbs: YWCA Bucks County and Friends Association of West Chester
Special thanks to Rebecca Lozada and CHOP’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Community Impact; Employee Resource Groups (ERG); and ERG community outreach officers for organizing CHOP-wide holiday donation drives and coordinating delivery!
New Jersey
HHI and HomeFront thank the many donors who responded to the needs of families. Baby formula, diapers, books, underwear, socks, art supplies, developmental toys, hygiene products, sports equipment, furniture and gift cards were some of the many items generously donated by many friends.
Special shout-outs go to Hilary Budny, Angella Bock, J.J. Cutuli, Matt Bennett and the St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church Women’s Philoptochos. We are also grateful for a March donation drive hosted by our friends at Chanel, King of Prussia Mall, which coordinated efforts from employees from Chanel and Neiman Marcus.
