The ninth annual Philly Spin-In took place on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9, where more than 200 teams made up of 2,000 supporters rode for heart warriors raising funds and awareness for critical cardiac care and research for the Cardiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP). 

Patient families, clinicians, sponsors and donors, participated in the party on a bike at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, raising more than $1.1 million (and counting!). Since its inception, the event has generated more than $6.6 million to advance breakthroughs in pediatric heart disease research and treatment. 

Support from Philly Spin-In allows CHOP’s Cardiac Center to fund its Innovation Awards. More than 35 clinical and scientific research, education, and patient and family experience projects have been funded since 2018, offering transformative approaches to major challenges in pediatric heart disease.
