The 2023 Congenital Hyperinsulinism Family Conference, held at CHOP in April, was a roaring success, with more than 225 attendees. Speakers and families came from 17 states and nine countries. Members of the 38 families that attended gained insights on HI from the 33 speakers and were able to share their experiences with each other. Topics discussed included: Diagnosis of HI, Surgical Treatment, Medical Management, Glucose Monitoring, Child Development, Psychosocial Impact of Living with HI and Research.
