The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) has released their Digital Health Most Wired Survey results for the 2023 data collection period, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is excited to announce we have maintained our highest ranking to date: Acute Level 8 achievement for the Digital Health Most Wired range. Among the more than 55,000 organizations and facilities represented, CHOP ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure and patient engagement.
“This is a significant honor that CHOP is extremely proud of and has repeatedly received for the past nine years – since 2015,” said Shakeeb Akhter, CHOP’s SVP & Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO). “The mission of this program is to elevate the health and healthcare of communities around the world through the optimal use of information technology.”
CHIME’s Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serves as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for healthcare organizations across the world. This achievement stretches far beyond information technology and reflects an entire organization’s commitment to improve healthcare through the advancement of digital health strategies.
Recipients were recognized at the CHIME23 Fall Forum celebration, which took place Nov. 9-12 in Phoenix, Ariz. This event allows digital health leaders from around the globe to convene and brainstorm, problem-solve, and develop initiatives to advance healthcare using the latest tools and resources.
