On Sunday, June 3, 2018, hundreds of current and past patients, along with their families, who were treated in the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment (CFDT) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), found an important reason to return to the hospital — the 22nd Annual Fetal Family Reunion.
The event, hosted by the CFDT, provided an opportunity for guests to reconnect with their clinicians and others who share an inexplicable bond. Nearly all children in attendance either underwent fetal surgery before birth or received complex care immediately after birth.
CBS3, FOX 29, and KYW Newsradio provided an inside-look at the day and its festivities.
