Helping Your Child With ADHD Succeed Socially
Jenelle Nissley-Tsiopinis, PhD, of the Center for Management of ADHD at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, discusses ways to help children with ADHD succeed socially. Historically, ADHD research has not focused on social relationships, but this topic is now being studied, and there are some social interventions available to families. In this presentation, Dr. Tissley-Tsiopinis discusses the effect of ADHD on peer relationships, ways to help your child improve his social skills and make and keep friends, the importance of parents and teachers, and bullying prevention.
