Dr. Smith was very kind and patient. She made us feel comfortable and demonstrated empathy for my child's illness.

She is now our absolute favorite in that practice. We are going to be requesting her for our visits from now on.She not only listened to me and understood what I was saying, we had an actual conversation about what my concerns were for my daughter. She explained everything in a manner that made sense. My thoughts and questions were heard in their entirety and explained fully. One major attribute that stood out was that she interacted with my daughter so well. It was the first visit that I wasn't struggling to hear what the doctor was saying over my child's cries and left feeling frustrated, uneasy or confused. She acknowledged my daughter's crying and instead of talking over it, she was speaking to my daughter and engaging with her, finding things to distract her, all in an attempt to calm her down from the fear she was experiencing about being in the doctor's office. Considering the fact that we were at the doctor's office for an issue my daughter was having, I think it's the best visit had. I got in the car feeling relieved, thankful and clear about what is happening and the next steps. She is now our requested physician.

Dr Smith is the best which is why when she transferred from Roxborough to Gibbsboro I moved bot my children to the Gibbsboro office. She is a doctor I will follow anywhere she goes until my kids can no longer see a pediatrician.

Dr. Smith was wonderful. I'm so excited she has joined this office. We all loved her: myself, my daughter who was the patient, and my other daughter who was along for the ride. She is knowledgeable, personable, warm and reassuring.,

Doctor listened intently and answered question and gave information in terms both myself and daughter could understand. Let us know of what they are testing for and what the course of treatment would be depending on results.

We love that Dr. Smith listens to every concern we have. Her bedside manner should be a case study.

Dr. Smith was excellent. She understood our concerns as our son was in clear distress. She did a great job inspecting his symptoms and providing a course of action. While checking his wounds she found that he had a double ear infection which we thought had gone away (he had recently been through back to back cycles of antibiotics for an ear infection). I would highly recommend Dr. Smith.

Dr. Smith spend so much time with us. We had a long list of things we hoped to discuss, and she patiently talked through it all with us. Our son has a few compllicated things going on, and Dr. Smith offered great suggestions, while not necessarily pushing any specific treatment on us. While that leaves us with a bit to think about, I also don't feel unsure or pressured about any specific treatment for our child. She was also always makes both of my children feel so at ease.

About the Patient Experience Rating System
The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
