About Melissa Desai Patel, MD, MPH, FAAP

Melissa Patel, MD, MPH, is the Section Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.  In her clinical practice, Dr. Patel is a pediatric hospitalist, an attending physician dedicated to the care of hospitalized children, and has specialized training in pediatric sedation. She is board certified in Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
