About Julius T. Oatts, MD, MHS
Julius Oatts, MD, MHS serves as an attending physician and an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Oatts has expertise in diagnosing and treating childhood glaucoma. He also sees pediatric patients with any eye or vision problem including strabismus, amblyopia, glaucoma, cataracts, and retinopathy of prematurity. He sees patients at the Children's Hospital Main Campus and at the Children's Hospital Specialty Care Center in Voorhees.
Dr. Oatts is an active clinical researcher. His research includes advances in childhood glaucoma as well as programs designed to detect and treat preventable vision loss in low resource settings. Dr. Oatts teaches and mentors students, residents, and fellows at the University of Pennsylvania.
