  • Dr. Maxwell is an amazing human being, with such a kind heart. She cares about my son so much. I've never seen such compassion and concern in a doctor before. She is very thorough in exams, as well as her reports back to me. I feel very confident in her and her care for my son.

  • My pediatrician office wouldn't send over the results to prior tests when I called to ask them. I was told I had to go pick up the papers in person and bring them to the appointment with me. However, when I got to the appointment, all the test results were already in the computer. Dr. Maxwell's staff took it upon themselves to call up our pediatrician's office and request the documents. I was so grateful the doctor was able to see them prior to our appointment. It really saved us a lot of time. Dr. Maxwell is an amazing doctor. She was definitely meant to be in the pediatric space. She thoroughly explained all prior test results and let us know a plan to move forward. She included my son in on the conversation and made sure he was comfortable with everything that was discussed. The appointment couldn't have gone any smoother! I would recommend this doctor a million times over!

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
