  • Dr. Ingersoll, took time with us to understand and treat a persistent cough. She walked us through her logic and recommendations and upon leaving the visit, my 13 year old daughter (who has yet to say "what she wants to do when she grows up") declared that that appointment made her want to be a pediatrician.

  • Dr Ingersol was great about listening to my child's concerns regarding treating his illness with balance to an upcoming major event. She weighed the pros and cons of different treatment options for us and let us participate in decision making. She clearly took my son's concerns seriously in her treatment plan

  • Our daughter is very anxious overall, but she trusts Dr. Ingersoll and we are very grateful. Even though we moved away and it's a much longer drive to go to this practice, my daughter's connection with Dr. Ingersoll makes the trip worth it

  • Dr. Ingersoll is incredible. The way she talks to the patients and includes them in the conversation about their health (vs just speaking to the parents) makes my kids trust her. She's a good listener, she's not an alarmist but she listens to concerns and provides feedback. I feel so lucky that we were randomly assigned to Dr. Ingersoll when we chose this practice (16 yrs ago) for my son.

About the Patient Experience Rating System

The Patient Experience Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown above from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score. We are committed to true transparency. However, to ensure the comments are fair and correctly attributed, we review each one before posting to the website. We exclude entire comments that disclose patient’s protected health information, are off-topic, or include other confidential or inappropriate content. Comments will appear on provider bios only if providers have a minimum number of comments. Comments are shared internally for education purposes to ensure that we are doing our very best for the patients and families for whom we are privileged to care. The comments are submitted by patients and families and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not reflect the views of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
