About Douglas L. Hill, PhD
Douglas Hill, PhD, is a social psychologist with the Justin Michael Ingerman Center for Palliative Care and the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is a member of the Department of Medical Ethics and serves on the Ethics Committee. Dr. Hill’s research interests include decision making about palliative care, improving communication between clinical teams and families, helping parents cope with a child's illness, beliefs about spirituality and religion, hopeful thinking and goals among parents of children with life-threatening illness, good parent beliefs, and the well-being of siblings.
