About Anne Wohlschlaeger, MSN, RN, CRNP
As a nurse practitioner my role is to provide and coordinate clinical care for children undergoing blood and marrow transplants. I especially enjoy helping families prepare for transplant and then empowering them to feel comfortable caring for their children once they are home. Over the 16 years that I have worked in pediatric oncology, I have really enjoyed my interactions with individual children and their families, and I have been amazed at how resilient families are.
I have authored a article and presented posters that focus on mucositis, mouth care, nursing education and supportive care with chemotherapy drugs in blood and marrow transplant.
