About Cathy Timko, RN, MSN, CRNP
Cathy Timko, MSN, CRNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner, has been with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) since 1993. She worked in the Division of Oncology as a registered nurse and as a nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. Cathy joined the Global Patient Services (GPS) team in 2012.
As Senior Director of the Global and National Patient Services team, Cathy provides leadership to team members and oversight of daily operations, including the Global Patient Services Clinic, to ensure streamlined and efficient access to CHOP for families nationally and internationally. The team strives to provide extraordinary care and coordination for international and out of area patients while ensuring timely financial clearance, family support, and safe discharge of the patient back to home country or state.
Cathy enjoys working with families in the US and from around the world and helping them access services that may not be available to them nearer to home.
