Patricia McElroy, BSN, RN, CCRN

Pat coordinates care for international patients and facilitates communication between referring physicians and the CHOP hospital staff. She provides ongoing case management for each patient from initial contact to time of discharge. Pat brings specialized experience in critical care and perioperative nursing.

Pat has 36 years of nursing at CHOP, including 25 years of experience working in the pediatric intensive care unit. She has extensive experience providing care to children with medical and surgical conditions and traumatic injuries, from the most basic conditions to cutting edge therapies. She also has seven years of experience in the perioperative unit, caring for children before, during and after surgery.
