Sports Medicine Community Outreach
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Sports Medicine Community Outreach initiative is dedicated to promoting injury prevention, health and wellness education while stressing the importance of physical activity for youth athletes in the communities we serve. This program provides valuable information and education to athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and athletic organizations.
We offer injury prevention workshops, formal presentations, and a presence at various community events, all focused on supporting the well-being of young athletes.
Programs can be tailored to the individual needs of athletes, teams, and organizations, and are conducted at the location of choice. All workshops are run by licensed sports physical therapists and athletic trainers, ensuring expert guidance and support.
Services we offer:
- On-field / on-court interactive injury prevention program at your location
- Introduction / review of basic strength training principles
- Formal educational presentations for various sports medicine topics
- Pre-event warm-ups programs for formal community events
