Psychology Services
If your child needs support adjusting to their diagnosis, adhering to their treatment plan or overcoming the trauma of their illness or a procedure, our pediatric psychologists are here to help. They treat children with both acute and chronic conditions.
Many medical programs across Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) include pediatric psychologists as part of their medical treatment teams. The program-specific psychologist understands the nuances of your child's illness and will assess your child and and provide interventions so your child heals emotionally as well as medically.
Our psychologists also work with families, since you play a key role in your child's overall healing and health.
