Balance and Vestibular Program
Dizziness and balance (or vestibular) disorders can significantly impact your child’s quality of life, development and psychological well-being. In the Balance and Vestibular Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we work closely with families to better understand your child’s symptoms and the impact of the disorder on your child and family.
If your child shows signs of clumsiness, falls frequently, has trouble walking in the dark, tilts their head or flutters their eyes, they may have a vestibular disorder. Our experts can provide a diagnosis. Our team will create an individualized care plan to address your child's symptoms.
Our program is among the few pediatric vestibular centers in the nation. We are the only program offering same-day, advanced-technology vestibular testing during your initial appointment.
