Oncology Psychosocial Services Program
At the Cancer Center, the support we offer your family goes far beyond our team of doctors and nurses. Because we know that your child’s cancer diagnosis can impact your family in many ways, our Oncology Psychosocial Services Program staff is here to give you the highest level of support. The program’s social workers, psychologists, child life specialists, creative arts therapists and teachers are a vital part of your care team.
We help your child and family cope with many challenges, such as:
- Adjusting to illness
- Addressing the psychological effects of treatment on both your child and family
- Connecting your family to helpful people and organizations in the community
- Keeping your child engaged in schoolwork
Through treatment and beyond, we will be by your side.
