Occupational Therapy at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a service of the Center for Rehabilitation, helps children facing the physical and social effects of illness, injury, and developmental or genetic disorders. Our occupational therapists work with your child to improve the ability to participate in everyday activities.
We work with patients in areas such as:
- Using their hands to grasp objects
- Strengthening muscles
- Learning or re-learning life skills like feeding themselves
We can:
- Recommend ways to adapt a home environment so a child can move around independently

Our caring team supports your child and your entire family every step of the way.
