At Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), family-centered care is at the heart of our mission. We believe that families — no matter how they’re defined — understand their children best. We always partner closely with every family so that each child receives the best, and safest, care.

Your insights help us improve the healthcare experience for everyone!

We incorporate the input of CHOP families when providing medical care for children, and when developing new safety programs, designing our facilities, and more. From serving as family consultants to family partners, our families play different roles here at CHOP. This ensures we’re able to deliver safe, high-quality care with compassion and respect for all the families we serve.

Participating in your child’s care

We respect each family’s background, needs and desire to be involved in the care of their children. This information can help you partner with us in caring for your child.
