Emergency Medicine
If your child needs emergency care, it can be a very stressful and frightening experience. We are here for you. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has two Emergency Departments — one on the first floor of our Main Hospital in Philadelphia and one on the ground floor of the Middleman Family Pavilion in King of Prussia — staffed 24 hours a day by physicians and nurses specially trained in pediatric emergency medicine. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care as efficiently as possible. Your child will be quickly assessed so we can determine the severity of their condition and provide the expert medical care they need.
