Camp Freedom

Camp Freedom is a lifeline for children with diabetes to develop the critical skills needed to thrive while managing this disease. Attending summer camp helps children develop social skills, self-respect and life-long friendships. We give kids the opportunity to meet other kids just like them while fostering independence, building self-confidence and gaining an awareness of a healthy lifestyle through education, nutrition, exercise, emotional well-being and glucose control.

Camp Nejeda

At Camp Nejeda youth with diabetes are given the opportunity to live, if only for one or two weeks, in a world where having diabetes is the norm.

Camp Possibilities

Camp Possibilities offers swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, basketball, field games, nature walks, talent shows, dances and many other activities for youth with diabetes. Camp is located on the Ramblewood Campgrounds.

Camp Setebaid offers a fun-filled week packed with lots of exciting activities, team building exercises and learning experiences for youth with Type 1 Diabetes.

This resource from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) gives tips to improve mind-body connection and digestion through practicing mindfulness at mealtimes.

Keystone Diabetic Kids Camp at Camp Victory

KDKC is a week long camp where children with type 1 diabetes, ages 7 – 16 can come to have fun, meet other kids with diabetes and experience camp. KDKC is held at the Camp Victory facility every year during the third week of June.

Lions Camp Merrick

Offers non-stop fun for children 6-16 years who are deaf, blind or have type 1 diabetes. Campers will participate in an overnight camp supervised by trained counselors. They also offer family and siblings diabetic camps.
