Basic Life Support – BLS (CPR) Courses
Basic Life Support (BLS) classes are designed to enable participants to recognize several life-threatening emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
- BLS Provider — A classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches healthcare professionals adult, child, and infant CPR. This two-day course also addresses how to relieve choking on any size individual. Healthcare professionals will learn a wide variety of life-saving skills for in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
- BLS Heartsaver — A classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use. This one-day course also addresses how to relieve choking on any size individual. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
- BLS Heartcode — A web-based, self-directed course for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
