About Darlene Barkman, MA
Darlene Barkman, MA, is an education and training specialist in the Department of Medical Ethics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Her role is to create and implement education and training initiatives designed to educate and support staff, patients and families.
Since 2019, Darlene worked as an Education and Training Specialist for the Department of Medical Ethics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she helps to support and coordinate ethics educational programs to all levels of CHOP staff to foster and facilitate ethical conduct as both a cultural norm and as a learnable set of skills. She completed the Pediatric Bioethics Certificate Program at the Children's Mercy Center for Bioethics, Kansas City, MO, in 2022.
