How to include a gift in your will
Creating or updating your will or living trust is an important way to care for your loved ones and the charities that reflect your values, but it doesn't have to be complicated.
Simply contact your attorney or advisor to discuss the best way to update your will. To include a gift to CHOP, you will need our designation and tax ID number.
Create a will that reflects your wishes and priorities. You can leave most of your resources to your loved ones and reserve a small percentage for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. We welcome gifts in any amount, and you can change your mind at any time.
If you are thinking about designating a gift to a particular program or area of research, the Planned Giving team is happy to help you explore your options and draft example language for your will that ensures your gift will be used as you intend.
