Corporate Council
Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) Corporate Council is composed of executives from varied backgrounds who are inspired by the hospital’s mission and who are committed to advancing its organizational priorities by helping to maintain its financial growth and health.
The role of the Council
Corporate Council members are engaged, compassionate and altruistic volunteer leaders who serve as ambassadors for CHOP within their firms and industries. They help to open the hearts and minds of their peers to the invaluable work being done by CHOP’s world-class researchers and clinicians.
The work done by the Council
The Corporate Council supports CHOP in identifying and achieving new and broadened opportunities for support, by helping to locate alignments between the hospital’s work and the philanthropic priorities of corporations with the capacity and motivation to give. At biannual meetings, CHOP leaders give updates on advancements at the hospital and the support CHOP will be seeking from its corporate partners and donors. Activating the professional networks of our Corporate Council members has the potential to exponentially expand the number of firms supporting the lifesaving work pursued within CHOP.
Through connections, volunteerism and charitable giving, council members are CHOP’s partners in innovation and philanthropy. The Corporate Council is led by:
