Inside the Emergency Department at Children’s Hospital

The Emergency Department (ED) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia sees more than 100,000 children every year. The team in the ED helps kids suffering from asthma, infections, broken bones, traumatic injuries, and many other conditions and emergency situations.

In this video, created for a fundraising event called Cheers for CHOP, children and parents share how they felt coming to the Emergency Department, and how the ED team helped them feel safe and reassured. You’ll also hear about the many emergency services available to families and how your support helps make it all possible!
