General Pediatrics

The Division of General Pediatrics cares for children admitted to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) who need the high level of care that CHOP offers. The division also provides primary care on an outpatient basis through its Primary Care location at CHOP’s Philadelphia Campus.

CHOP offers inpatient satellites, called CHOP Newborn and Pediatric Care, at regional hospitals. These are located at the Chester County Hospital and Grand View Health in Pennsylvania, and University Medical Center in Princeton, Virtua Memorial Hospital and Virtua Voorhees Hospital, all three in New Jersey. These units are operated jointly and staffed by CHOP physicians.
