Center for Celiac Disease
The Center for Celiac Disease at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides specialized care, treatment and support for children with celiac disease, wheat allergies, and non-celiac gluten sensitivities. Children with celiac disease cannot properly digest foods with gluten, such as bread and pasta, and may not get the nutrients they need to grow and develop.
As one of the largest and most comprehensive celiac programs for children in the United States, we treat more than 3,000 kids with celiac disease. We support families by confirming their child’s diagnosis and providing second opinions and long-term disease management. We aim to help your family navigate the gluten-free lifestyle and ensure your child grows, develops and thrives.
